Rachelle Lefevre, a Canadian actress, was born. Lefevre's first acting job came about when she was working at a restaurant. An Canadian film producer came across the actress while she was serving tables. The actress then relocated from Canada to Los Angeles and earned a recurring role on the television series What About Brian (2006). The actress' acting talents were discovered by a Montreal-based customer while she was working as teenager in the restaurant. The show's regular placed Lefevre in contact with an agent for casting. The result was being cast in a Canadian sitcom. She was a part of several episodes of David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004), that led to her being offered a leading role in his 2008 U.S. adaptation of the BBC popular Life on Mars (2008). Lefevre was raised as a child in Montreal in her father's French family, however she began to learn English.
