Coleman was born in Blackpool, Lancashire. She was the head girl at Arnold School, Blackpool and received straight A's in her A level. Coleman regrets not having get a normal schooling when talking about her Emmerdale experience. Coleman was part of a group known as In Yer Space at her school. The group was in the stage production Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. Her performance was rewarded, and the play received positive reviews. Coleman was auditioning to join drama colleges in 2005, got Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was nominated twice for Awards in the year 2007. The British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman in the Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman got a nomination in the category of Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's character following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat chose her for the role because she worked most effectively with Smith and was able to talk more quickly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. However she has been more well-known on television as opposed to films. Eva was in a number of roles on television, but two stand out in particular: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas which was in CSI Miami. In the latter, she even received two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and allowed her to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is a businesswoman, and also an actor. Eva has three husbands, and one child born from the third.
