Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. The same year, She recorded her first album of music It's the Time for Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success, and Louise earned an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also was an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto for her childhood. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
