Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in the United States. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. She began as a photo assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was selected for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After only three movies, MacGraw was named the top female box-office start worldwide. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
